“Powered by Pinot” — We’ll pedal, stomp, hike and sip our way through some of the most picturesque areas of Oregon’s wine and coastal regions.  Adventure highlights include:

• Private bike tour of the Columbia River Gorge wine region (complete with a Farm-to-Table dinner) 

• Hiking and sightseeing along the Oregon coast

*A $1500 (double-occupancy) and $3,000 (single-occupancy) non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot. Final payment is due 60 days prior to our trip departure. All payments are non-refundable and MOJO Active Adventures must strictly adhere to this policy to offset costs incurred prior to the commencement of the tour.  We strongly our guests to purchase a supplemental travel insurance policy to protect their travel investment. 

By registering for a MOJO Active Adventures tour, you are agreeing to be bound by our Terms and Conditions.  A copy will be emailed to you, together with your booking details, upon registration.

Price Excludes

  • Airfare (Please contact us prior to booking your flight arrangements)
  • Airport transfers from the Portland airport to downtown Portland (arrival) and Willamette Valley to the Portland airport (departure). Note: We are happy to assist you with these arrangements.
  • Meals outside of those outlined in the itinerary. To provide our guests with ample flexibility to unwind/explore on their own, there will be three (3) breakfasts and one (1) dinner on your own.
  • Alcohol (unless that sip/glass is already included in the experience) and room/resort incidentals
  • Housekeeping gratuities and hotel porter/staff gratuities
  • Items of a personal nature
  • Costs for medical visits, hospitalization, evacuation or trip cancellation (Note: We require all travelers carry medical coverage). Please refer to our supplemental insurance section for additional information.

Itinerary

Day 1Welcome to Portland

The “City of Roses”, Oregon’s largest city, is flanked by rivers, mountains and home to fabulous breweries, award-winning chefs and an endless array of outdoor activities. After arriving, you’ll transfer to our hotel and meet up with your fellow adventurers and trip guides. We’ll get things rolling (and stretch those legs) with a welcome reception and group dinner followed by a fun private pedal barge tour of the Willamette River and surrounding skyline.

Day 2Hood River Biking/Winery Tour

After powering up over breakfast, we’ll embark on a day of exploring the scenic Hood River area via foot and bicycle. Driving along the oldest scenic highway in the US, we’ll stop and take in a few sweeping viewpoints near towering trees and flowing falls, eventually ending in the Hood River area. There, we’ll hop on bikes and pedal and sip our way along the east side of the lower valley. This guided tour has an abundance of historic charm and natural beauty, with rolling orchids, vineyards, wildlife and breathtaking views of Mt. Hood. It includes stops and tastings at several award-winning local wineries. We’ll cap off the day with a privately-catered and memorable, farm-to-table winery dinner before transferring back to our hotel in Portland. Expect a very full and fun day!

Day 3Oregon Coast Hiking

With over 300 miles of public coastline, Oregon’s beaches are sure to amaze with their numerous lighthouses, quaint beach towns and dramatic offshore rock formations. Our tour will take us along one of the most picturesque driving routes in the country – US Hwy 101. We’ll spend the day exploring its stunning coastline vistas then make our way towards our award-winning, luxury, oceanfront accommodations in Cannon Beach. Enjoy dinner on your own, then join us for a group beach bonfire overlooking the nearby, famed Haystack Rock.

Day 4Oceanside Morning and Afternoon Wine Country

Power up with a little extra sleep or an invigorating walk/hike on the beach, followed by breakfast at your leisure. Then we’ll make our way down to the famed Willamette Valley wine region where we’ll enjoy a private tasting at one of our favorite boutique wineries. Our “basecamp” for the final 2 nights will be The Allison Inn — an award-winning, luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of Willamette Valley.

Day 5Willamette Valley Private Winery Tours (Stomping and Hiking)

Today we’ll explore the famed Willamette Valley wine region (and its worldrenown Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris) in a couple unique ways. After breakfast, we’ll set out to learn the ins and outs of winemaking from the experts. We’ll channel our best Lucy and Ethel impression and enjoy a cardio boost during a very memorable grape stomping event. Later, we’ll take a leisurely hike and through the red hills of Dundee, stopping and sipping at several award-winning wineries along the way. We’ll toast to new friendships and achievements over a special group dinner before bidding farewell.

Guest rooms feature either one (1) king bed or two (2) double beds.

The Allison Inn and Spa offers guests an unmatched resort experience amid the lush natural beauty of the Willamette Valley. Thoughtfully placed on 35 hillside acres, the award-winning, luxury property welcomes guests as they enter the property and drive past seven (7) scenic acres of estate vineyards. The spa resort features 77 luxury guest rooms and 8 suites on four levels. Rooms feature either one (1) king bed or two (2) double beds, gas fireplaces, a private terrace or balcony, spa-like bathrooms and plush amenities for a memorable stay.
