Planning Family Travel Becomes a Priority

MOJO Adventures plans travel experiences for families and couples because we recognize the importance of building memories that will be treasured forever.

Planning family vacations is fun but can be challenging because everyone in the group often arrives with different priorities. My team and I put our skills to work to plan the perfect adventure for all ages. We consider everyone’s preferences and overall adventure goals and create a unique experience around that. No two adventures are the same because no two groups are.

We recently had three families return to the United States after travelling to different countries. Here are some highlights from a few of these summer vacations:

THE HEREFORD FAMILY TAKES ON PUERTO RICO IN STYLE

Having attended two MOJO girls’ adventures before (including one to Puerto Rico), Beth Hereford reached out to MOJO for assistance with planning this getaway for their family’s youngest daughter, knowing our deep relationships in the region would make for an extra amazing family adventure.  They stayed five nights at the Ritz Dorado Resort in the Northwest part of Puerto Rico. A highlight of the adventure was a private sunset sail, complete with cocktails and appetizers, while learning the rich history of Old San Juan.

Here are a few snapshots from their adventure:

THE TOURVILLE FAMILY — THE SKY’S (AND CANYON’S) THE LIMIT FOR A RECENT HIGH SCHOOL GRAD IN COSTA RICA

This family adventure was created to celebrate their daughter’s recent high school graduation. To get them to Costa Rica, my team and I provided expert guidance with navigating ever-changing Costa Rican travel requirements. (PRO TIP: not all insurance policies meet the country’s specific entry requirements – make sure you consult with a professional to ensure no potential snags in your arrival plans).

The first half of the trip was spent in the Arenal Rainforest area which is known as the “Adventure Capital of Costa Rica.”  Here we set them up with customized activities including an ATV ride through the rainforest and a private waterfall canyoneering adventure.  (A highlight of the adventure).

The other half of the trip, was spent on the Pacific side of the country at the Four Seasons resort in Peninsula Papagayo.  Here, they enjoyed an estuary boat tour where they spotted monkeys, birds, marine life and sloths.

THE PYFER FAMILY ENJOYS SOME FAMILY BONDING TIME IN TURKS AND CAICOS

This family of 6 was seeking an opportunity for great family bonding time with plenty of things to do for their kids whose ages ranged from 13 to 21.

Their shared villa at Wymara Resort and Villas in Turks and Caicos provided plenty of opportunity for the family to share laughs and stories from each day’s adventure.   A few highlights from the adventure included a family horseback ride on the beach and a private yacht charter that created extra family fun with snorkel sets, jet skis and paddle boards!

Here are some glimpses from their trip:

Whether you’re looking to celebrate that special milestone or just time together as a family or group, we’ve got you covered. MOJO creates a once in a lifetime experience for YOU. No two trips are the same because no two people are!
